Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Kwaku Asante condemns Dzifa's tribal comments

Chairman of the National Peace Council (NPC) Reverend Professor Emmanuel Kwaku Asante has condemned recent comments made by former Minister of Transport Dzifa Aku Ativor
In an interview on TV3 , Rev. Prof. Asante said the comments were “divisive”, “barbaric” and uncalled for. “These are the things that create tension in society and it must be condemned,” he said.
He expressed confidence in the “intelligent” people of the Volta Region to vote not on tribal lines but on issues. According to him, Ms Ativor’s comments are characteristic of politicians who have no better message for electorates. “It is below the belt,” the immediate past Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church of Ghana insisted.
