Prince Carl and Princess Sofia steps out for the first time after her birth

She may have given birth a little over one week ago, but Princess Sofia of Sweden is already getting back into her royal duties. The new mom who gave birth to Prince Alexander on April 19 – was joined by her husband Prince Carl Philip to honor his father, King Carl Gustaf, for a special Te Deum Thanksgiving Service at the Royal Palace in honor of the monarch's 70th birthday on Saturday.
Sofia looked elegant in a short-sleeved light pink dress while Carl Philip donned his traditional navy uniform. Meanwhile, Carl Philip's sister Crown Princess Victoria – who gave birth to her second child, Prince Oscar, on March 2 – wore a chic blue and white striped dress as she posed for photos outside the palace alongside her husband Prince Daniel, daughter Princess Estelle and their newborn.
