Kumasi Polytechnic SRC leadership on fire as some students demonstrate against them

Concern Students of Kumasi Polytechnic writes: What is happening to our SRC executives? Are these people in for their selfish interest or they are in for the core mandate they were elected into office? They have less than two months to leave office but we don't know whether we have SRC Executives. After entrusting more than a million Ghana cedis into the care of the present executives. They have resorted into mismanaging and misappropriation of the group's funds and now it is unbearable. We don't now if our leadership can chest out for a single achievement since they assumed office. What the current leadership can boost of is the great achievements of the immediate past executives which was supervised by Frank Obeng Gyimah.

According to the  angry students the first time PRO of the SRC Mr. Amo Collins came out with " THE STATE OF SRC ADDRESS " . The following achievements were mentioned, 
1. Renovation of all the hall of residences 
2. Procurement of a larger plant to be used on campus. 
3. Assessment of our results online.
4. Procurement of 500 furniture for the lecture halls. 
5. Reduction in school fees last yr( those in FOBAMS paid not more 850), 
6. Given GNUPS Cloth, SRC cloths, Lacoste, Broach to students. 
The SRC past leadership left GH4,000 to be used to complete the GNUPS gate, the money was not used for the intended purpose.

According to some of the angry students even if the past SRC leaders spent their money they are not worried because they worked so hard and achieved more for the group. They Organized SRC dinner, safari and other trips for the SRC. Stating emphatically clear to our reporter, they said nothing is expected than a proper accountability of all money spent by the current leadership. A one week deadline was given which started yesterday. They added that it is not known the current administration has PRO. 
Following up with a question they said Amo Collins used to have whatsapp group through which information was sent, now where is it? Where is the online results assessment that was brought by them? They then made an allegation that instead for the current administration to work hard and build upon all the achievements of the past leaders, they are rather following ladies on campus.
